An Antique American Stained, Jeweled and Painted Glass Vaulted Ceiling in 2 sections. Each section, in its original curved frame measures 61.5" x 53". The panels are concave in shape from top to bottom as viewed in the composite picture below. Both panels are in need of restoration as much of the blue background has been repaired will ill-chosen glass. Additionally there is some damage to the paintwork in at least one of the birds. That said, there is some wonderful glass used throughout, especially in the border with heavy rippling used to great effect.
Restoration will begin shortly.
Overall this is a lovely set and would be quite wonderful in a kitchen, hall or entryway ceiling.
