Antique American Stained and Jeweled Glass Transom from Chicago, circa 1890.  This one’s a stunner as far as I’m concerned.  The window has obviously had a border section added to it and was put into a steel frame which measures 91.5" x 27".  (The original panel, without frame measures 84.5" x 20.5".)  Additionally the original panel needs some repair as there are a few poorly replaced pieces and some damaged pieces.  Having said that, the color selection, swirled and textured Rondels, pinched and molded Jewels all combine to form a classic American window.

My plans are to remove the added borders, replace the poorly selected repair glass and touch up the other needed repairs and reframe the window.  The price quoted is for the window in its current condition.
