Antique American Stained Glass Windows

email:  fduff@antiqueamericanstainedglass

A spectacular Antique American Stained Glass Scenic Window.  In its new Sapele frame the Window measures 63 1/2” x 35 1/2”.  The Window is entirely plated on both front and back, in many, if not most places there are 3 layers.  The Window is in excellent condition with a crack or two, but was extremely dirty, with much infiltration between layers.  The Window has been thoroughly cleaned, both on the exterior and between layers.  Because of the number of layers, the glass is quite dense requiring strong light but very very nice throughout.

The rhyme is from Shakespeares ‘Winters tale’, Act4, Scene 3:

“Jog on, jog on, the foot-path way,

And merrily hent the stile-a

A merry heart goes all the day

Your sad tires in a mile-a”

Price:  $37,500.00
