Antique American Stained/Beveled/Jeweled Floral Transom Window.  This is a wonderful Transom with its Dogwood decoration, ribbons and Jewels and Beveled border centered with the ‘home 1874’ declaration.  I’d love to know the origin of the Window and more specifically about the reference to ‘home 1874’, but I think that will be left to speculation.  The Window is in excellent condition having been flattened, recommended and one piece of yellow background glass replaced.  Additionally some crudely affixed rebars were removed and replaced with 4 vertical rebars which were configured to follow lead lines and be less obtrusive.  The panel is in a new Sapele frame measuring 70” x 20 1/4”.
